What is EFL?
Equine Facilitated Learning is an experiential, ground-based approach that uses horse-human interaction to support personal growth, emotional intelligence, communication, confidence, and self-awareness.
No riding is involved.
No horse experience is necessary.
Simply come as you are.

Horses are highly sensitive herd animals. They respond to presence, energy, body language, and emotion.
They offer honest, immediate, non-judgmental feedback that can help you see what is happening beneath the surface.

Travel & Lodging
Faewood Equestrian is approximately 20 minutes from Louisville Airport.
There are several hotels, motels, and Airbnbs within 10-20 minutes.
We will provide a light breakfast with coffee and tea.
We will provide box lunches for a picnic in nature.
Louisville is well known for its diversity in restaurants, coffee shops, and breweries for your evenings
We will spend all our time at a horse farm, so dress accordingly.
Comfortable clothing is advised, and closed-toed shoes are required while with the horses.
We may not have real unicorns, but the horses at Faewood Equestrian come really close!
