Monique has coached and taught hundreds of people over the years, and at 65, she started a thriving horseback riding school together with her daughter.

But life wasn't always that fun. After she moved at age 12, she felt like she didn’t belong—the kids at school looked down on her and whispered that she smelled like cow dung. She dreaded walking into that building.

Then one day, she went exploring and found three horses at the corner of the street. She started helping the girls who cared for them and pretty soon became their sole caretaker—she spent all her free time with them. The horses helped her through depression, and for the first time, she felt heard, seen, connected, and free. She finally belonged.

That moment planted the seed for her Equine Assisted Coaching work today.

Now she guides women over 50 who’ve spent their lives serving others—and feel disempowered, invisible, or unsure of their purpose—to reclaim themselves, live with meaning, and create passion-based income before it’s too late.
